Accounting Administrator – Zeeuws Vlaanderen

Our client is a company active in the Maritime Industry. the company has a worldwide fleet of 170 vessels (dry cargo, automobiles, oils and Offshore vessels). Founded in the 19th century and still  managed by the family. The companies headquarters is situated in Zeeuws Vlaanderen. 

In this position you wil work under de direction of the Accounting Manager, you are part of a team that administrers the accounts for on of the divisions. 

Functie

You act as the resource person and resolve problems, process financial and accounting transactions and are responisble for the month en-closing process of the division. 


Other responsibilities:

  • Examine, analyse and reconcile accounting and financial records as well as documents suchs als bank statements, invoices, budgets, cash flow, forecasts and loans.
  • Ensures accurancy and compliance with local legislation, as well as the internal accounting and reporting policies and procedures
  • Perfom various administrative tasks according tot the needs of the team
  • Work in close cooperation with other deparments

Functie eisen

We are looking for a motivated professional with

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics Accounting, or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably acquired in an international organization
  • knowledge of financial systems
  • Possess analytical- and problem solving skills
  • works in a structured manner
  • Excellent communcation and reporting skills in English and Dutch
